Key Responsibilities

As the Branch Manager, you will be the ‘single captain’ responsible for the branch’s overall success. Your primary duties will include:

Develop and execute the branch business plan to achieve profitability, growth, and targets for both assets (Lending) and liabilities (Deposits).
Lead and manage the branch sales team to acquire new business and grow the Corporate, SME, & Retail Business portfolio.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, delivering tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.
Ensure the smooth functioning of daily General Banking, Lending Operations, Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations.
Ensure effective process, regulatory compliance, and controls, especially for preventing Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Collaborate with affiliated Sub-Branches and Head Office departments (Credit Risk, Trade Finance) to ensure satisfactory customer service.
Lead, coach, and manage the branch team, fostering their career development.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Masters/Post-Graduate degree (preferably in a business background) from any reputed public/private university. No Third Class/Division is acceptable.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in any reputed bank.
Leadership Experience: Preferably 3 years of experience in a similar role (Branch Manager) with an excellent existing clientele base.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Branch Operations, General Banking, Lending Operations & Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations.
Legal Knowledge: Well-conversant with the Bank Companies Act, AML Act, Negotiable Instrument Act, and other regulatory guidelines.
