CPO Key Responsibilities

As the Head of HR/CPO, your responsibilities will encompass the entire spectrum of Human Resource Management:

• Strategic HR Leadership: Develop HR policies aligning with business objectives and work with executive leadership to build an agile workforce.

• Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention. Implement Competency Development Programs and create succession pipelines.

• Manpower Budgeting: Prepare short and long-term manpower forecasts and HR budgets to translate headcount requirements.

• Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Labor Laws and banking regulations. Act as the primary contact for grievances and disciplinary issues.

• Performance Management: Design appraisal systems to enhance productivity and foster a performance-driven culture.

• Training & Development: Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and support leadership development programs.

• HR Operations & Analytics: Lead HR analytics to guide data-driven decision-making and manage HR automation/systems for operational efficiency.

• Compensation: Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  • Master’s degree/Postgraduation preferably in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration from a UGC-approved university.

  • Academic Record: No 3rd class/division in any examination.

  • Certification: Diploma in HRM, PGDHRM, CHRMP, or CHRG holders will get preference.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of banking experience.

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a Senior HR Managerial/Leadership role (preferably as CHRO, CPO, Deputy CHRO, or Head of HRD).

• Age: Candidate’s age must not exceed 55 years as of the application deadline.
