Key Responsibilities

As the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO), you will spearhead the Bank’s technology strategy. Your core responsibilities include:

• Technology Leadership: Developing and implementing a forward-looking IT strategy aligned with the Bank’s vision for digital leadership.
• Digital Transformation: Driving innovation in digital channels (mobile, internet, agent, and ATM banking), FinTech partnerships, API banking, and customer-centric solutions.
• Systems Excellence: Ensuring uninterrupted performance, regular upgrades, and seamless integration of Core Banking Systems (CBS) and other mission-critical systems.
• Cybersecurity & Governance: Establishing world-class cybersecurity practices, robust data privacy frameworks, and business continuity measures to mitigate risks.
• Emerging Technologies: Championing the adoption of AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Cloud, and Data Analytics to deliver intelligent banking experiences.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Certifications: Certifications such as CFM, CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) will add strong value.

Experience Required

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of progressive IT experience in Financial Institutions.

• Leadership Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Head/Deputy Head of IT/CIO/CITO role in Banks.

• Project Experience: Proven track record of leading large-scale IT transformation projects, including CBS migration, digital banking platforms, and FinTech integrations.
